presencial. O dia das palestras é que vai ser misto (presencial e online),

It is our pleasure to announce the Meeting on Statistics and Applied
Probability 2022, taking place at University of Minho, Guimarães, on the
20th and 21st of October 2022.

The Meeting on Statistics and Applied Probability 2022 is organized by the
CMAT-SAPOR of the Centre of Mathematics at University of Minho. It is
dedicated to topics of Design of Experiments, Meta-Analysis, Queueing
Theory, Regression Models and Stochastic Processes.

A short-course covering topics in financial mathematics and statistics,
titled "Pricing of Options: from theory to practice", will be lectured by
Cláudia Nunes Philippart (IST, U. Lisboa) and Conceição Amado (IST, U.
Lisboa) on October 20th.

Invited speakers:

- Helena Ribeiro (P. Leiria)

- Vanda Inácio (U. Edinburgh)

- Idemauro de Lara (U. São Paulo)

- Sandra Palau (U. N.A. México)

- Paula Milheiro (U. Porto)
