O Jeremias tem doutorado em Estatística (2017) pela Universidade Federal de São Carlos/Universidade de São Paulo (UFSCar/USP), mestrado em Estatística (2010) pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE) e graduação em Estatística (2007) pela Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC). Desde 2015 é Professor Adjunto do Departamento de Estatística da Universidade Federal do Amazonas (UFAM). Também é Pesquisador dos Grupos de Bioestatística da UFAM, de Análise de Sobrevivência e Confiabilidade da UFSCar e de Modelagem Estatística e Probabilidade da Universidade Federal de Campina Grande (UFCG). Foi recentemente reeleito coordenador dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Matemática da UFAM e da Universidade Federal do Pará (PPGM-UFAM e PDM-UFPA-UFAM), com mandato até 2023. This approach produces a flexible cure rate model, depending on the choice of time partition. We discuss local influence on this negative binomial power piecewise exponential model. We report on Monte Carlo simulation studies and the application of the model to real melanoma and leukemia datasets. </span></p><p style="margin: 0px; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 12px; line-height: normal;
