<p>The <strong><em>2023 IAOS Young Statisticians Prize</em></strong> is now open. <br>We encourage you to read on.</p>
<p>The Prize is awarded for the best paper in the field of official statistics written by a young statistician. In addition to monetary prizes, the first-place winner receives travel funds to present the paper at an international conference chosen in conjunction with the IAOS.</p>
<p>I am calling on all IAOS members to promote the Prize widely within your networks, country and region. I also encourage you to mentor a young statistician or statisticians. Submissions have been declining in number in recent years and your help in promoting the Prize would be greatly appreciated.</p>
<p>Information on the Prize and how to make a submission is available at <br><a href="https://www.iaos-isi.org/index.php/statistics-prize" target="_blank">www.iaos-isi.org</a>.</p>
<p>The closing date is <strong>10 February 2023</strong>.</p>
