Abstract: Based on concepts of game theory and of conflict analysis, the
graph model for conflict resolution (GMCR) is a mathematical tool which can
be used to describe and analyze conflicts. Such model describes a set of
possible states (scenarios) that can arise in a conflict according to
actions that can be taken by individuals involved in a conflict, called
DMs. DMs may change the conflict’s state by changing some of his actions
taking into account their preferences over the set of possible states in
the conflict and the countermoves of the other DMs. In this talk, we
describe the GMCR and some theoretical advances that are being proposed in
this model by our research group.
