Vacancy for a PhD Student
Departments of Biostatistics & Public Health

*The Position*
The Department of Biostatistics and the Department of Public Health of the
Erasmus Medical Center (Erasmus University), Rotterdam, the Netherlands
have a vacancy for a joint fulltime PhD student in biostatistics on the
topic of Personalized Screening Intervals for Biomarkers: Linking Joint
Models to Cancer Surveillance, under the supervision of Dr. Dimitris
Rizopoulos and Professor Ewout Steyerberg. This is a fully funded position
for a period of 4 years, starting from June 2016. This position is
primarily focused on research, but the PhD student also will be expected to
assist in the teaching and consulting responsibilities.
