Dear IWSM 2016 participant,

as chair of this year's International Workshop on Statistical Modelling
(IWSM) in Groningen (2-7 July 2017), I am delighted to inform you
that we have extended the abstract submission deadline.

The new deadline is: 12 February.
The webpage has already been updated.

Moreover, I would like to draw your attention to the availabe student
travel grants. Please see PS below and also visit our webpage for
further details:

PS: STUDENTSHIPS

For PhD students that submit an abstract to the conference it is possible
to apply
for a registration waver by the C.R. Rao Stichting (2x) or a travel fee
with combined
tuition waver by Toyota (2x).
Students should send request for funding before  10 February 2017 to me:
m.a.grzegorczyk em rug.nl
The request should be accompanied by a letter from the Ph.D. student's
supervisor explaining the need for the funding.
