Caros redistas,

Segue mensagem que divulga a realização de evento satélite do congresso do
ISI, que no próximo ano vai ser realizado na Malásia, sobre "*Statistical
Data Integration*".

O evento satélite vai reunir pesquisadores importantes da área do evento,
em Singapura. Os interessados poderão elaborar seu plano de viagem para o
ISI considerando a possibilidade de participar do evento satélite.

Hello All,


We would like to announce that the Institute for Mathematical Sciences
(IMS), National University of Singapore (NUS) is organising a "Workshop on
Statistical Data Integration" from 5th to 8th August, 2019 followed by a
conference on “Current Trends in Survey Statistics (CTSS 2019)” from 13th
to 16th August, 2019.

The workshop will feature distinguished researchers who will discuss
various challenges in statistical data integration (SDI).  This workshop
will be the first of its kind on this emerging research on statistical data
integration and should help graduate students and early career researchers
understand different challenging open problems on the topic.


The conference will focus on the assessment of the current state of
developments in various areas of survey statistics, and discuss emerging
problems and their possible solutions in areas like small area estimation
(SAE), record linkage, synthetic data, Big Data etc. We hope that these two
events together will serve as a forum for exchange of new ideas among the
statisticians and practitioners working on survey sampling and related
areas in academia, private and government agencies as well as in other
fields.

The events are co-sponsored by the IMS in NUS and the International
Association for Survey Statisticians and are scheduled to take place just
before the 62nd ISI World Statistics Congress to be held in Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia (18th - 23rd, August, 2019).
