Grande coisa: isso vale para Machine Learning e Statistical Learning;  
o que fazem os estatísticos senão analisar dados e inferir?

O grande problema que vejo é que esse pessoal (geralmente da área de  
computação) analisa dados sem ter uma hipótese em mente, ou seja,  
analisa por analisar.
