It is home to many World Heritage Sites, as designated by the United Nations. It has a great number of museums and parks and is also famous for its beaches. Barcelona is also recognized for its excellence in research and innovation. </span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:12.0pt;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:12.0pt;margin-left:0in"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">An <i>IBC</i> invited session brings together a small number of speakers (two-four) on a particular statistical topic. A discussant may also form part of a session.
