Advance registration open January 3, 2018, closes May 1, 2018. All discounted hotel blocks are valid until May 24, 2018, after which the conference discounts expire. The conference organizers strongly encourage attendees to register and book travel early! The objective of this conference is to bring together researchers, students and practitioners with interest in the theoretical, computational and applied aspects of hyperbolic time dependent problems. The conference will provide a forum to exchange and stimulate new ideas from different disciplines, and to develop new mathematical models and techniques that will have impact in applications. The conference consists of 45-minute plenary lectures and 45-minute invited lectures held in parallel, and of sessions of 20-minute contributed talks. A portion of the talks will feature the latest developments in the core theory of hyperbolic problems. In addition, the conference will cover a wide spectrum of related topics, in particular: (*) Mathematical theory of fluids and their applications to biological and engineering problems. (*) Hyperbolic equations on networks and on structured domains. (*) Kinetic and fluid models for collective dynamics of many-body systems. (*) Transport equations: optimality and mixing. (*) Equations of general relativity. (*) Control problems for hyperbolic PDEs, and differential games. HYP2018 is in cooperation with the <a href="http://www.awm-math.org" target="_blank"> Association for Women in Mathematics</a> (AWM).
