The meeting will be hosted by the campus of Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. This is the sixth of a series of meetings that took place in Ubatuba, Brasil (2002), Los Cabos, México (2005), Pucón, Chile (2011), Medellín, Colombia (2015) and Guanajuato, México (2017). The COBAL serve to disseminate Bayesian ideas within the Latin American statistical community, offering interested researchers and academics in the region the opportunity for interaction and discussion. COBAL put particular emphasis in fostering participation of junior researchers.
