Bernoulli Society News July 2014

*         New Publications Committee Chair: The present Bernoulli
Society Publications Committee (PubCom) Chair Professor Eulalia Vares
has to step down early, because she is to become Chief Editor of Annals
of Probability at the start of 2015 - a very high honour. Her successor
from (1st October 2014) will be Professor Thomas Mikosch. The business
of Bernoulli PubCom is extensive, and key to the operations of Bernoulli
Society; we are very grateful to both for their willing and able
service.

*         Two new sponsored meetings: Bernoulli Society has agreed to
