Título: Strongly consistent estimator for the number of communities of the
Stochastic Block Model
Autora: Andressa Cerqueira

Resumo: In this talk, I will introduce a probabilistic model defined on
networks called Stochastic Block Model. I will present some inferential
problems on this class of models with focus on the estimation of the number
of communities of the model. I will present a strongly consistent estimator
for the number of communities based on the Krichevsky-Trofimov mixture. Our
results apply to both the dense and the sparse regimes. This is a joint
work with Florencia Leonardi (IME-USP).
