[ABE-L] Conference on Applied Statistics in Agriculture and Natural Resources

will be held at the Reitz Union on the campus of the University of Florida
Sunday April 26 through Tuesday April 28, 2020. This conference is a
continuation and rebirth of the Conference on Applied Statistics in
Agriculture, held for 30 years at Kansas State University until 2017. The
scope is expanded to include Natural Resources.

Highlights of the conference are an all-day Sunday workshop on Practical
Bayesian Analysis, led by Dr. Fang Chen from the SAS Institute. Each of the
seven breakout session will be begin with a 30-min lecture by an invited
speaker. Topics range from using an assembled database to aid in planning
experiments (Casler) to using all available data to produce official NASS
estimates (Young).

A student oral and poster presentation with prizes awarded for the best
three presentations in each category will be part of the conference as well.
