In Warwick Statistics, we are launching an internship scheme aimed at
students considering a postgraduate degree in statistics or probability.
The scheme is suitable for undergraduates entering their final year of
study following the internship, and is intended to provide first-hand
experience of life as a researcher. The first intake will start in July
2020.

The scheme takes place over July and August, and provides students with an
8 week introduction to research in statistics, probability, and data
science. It is an opportunity to try out postgraduate study, and to develop
independent research skills that are in demand across academia and
industry. The scheme is primarily aimed at undergraduates who would enter
their final year of study after the internship.

Interns will be provided with accommodation, a weekly stipend, personal
supervision, as well as weekly seminars and cohort activities. More details
