Applications are invited for
a bi-annual  postdoctoral position  in STATISTCS at University of
Milano-Bicocca, Italy under the supervision of Fulvia Mecatti (Assegno di
Ricerca-A).

The research will focus on exploring the sampling statistics approach to
exploit  large data sets from observational studies   self-selected data
and data streaming. In particular the successful candidate will deepen
investigation of sampling, weighting, matching and re-sampling
methodologies  to develop innovative methods to ensure  valid and
unbiased  inference in bio-medical and social studies.

The successful applicant will have a strong educational background in
Statistics or Biostatistics or related fields and documented skills in
scientific research and R /C++ programming.  A PhD in Statistics,
Bio-Statistics or related discipline, either already defended or close to
be, is preferred though not mandatory.
