Dear Colleagues,
The 13th version of the Mathematical Methods in Reliability conference (
MMR2025 <https://mmr2025.sciencesconf.org/>) will take place in Chile from
June 23rd to 27th, 2025. The conference will be held at the Viña del Mar
Campus of Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. It will be the first time the
conference is hosted in Latin America, and we are very proud that it will
be in Chile. We encourage you to share this information.
The MMR conference is the stage where the latest advances in mathematical
reliability theory and risk management are presented —using the tools of
stochastic modeling, statistical inference, optimization, decision support,
etc.—, as well as their applications, such as aging, maintenance,
degradation, prognostics, health management, monitoring, warranty, lifetime
data analysis, etc. The conference aims to bring together the best
international experts from academia and various industrial sectors such as
energy, aeronautics, automotive, and telecommunications. It is an important
international forum on reliability and attracts a growing number of
researchers worldwide.
We are pleased to invite you to attend and contribute to the 13th version
of MMR 2025. Viña del Mar is easily accessible, located 1:30hrs from
Chile's main airport (Arturo Merino Benítez). The conurbation formed
by Viña del Mar and Valparaíso has more than 1 million inhabitants, a
developed public transport system, and an attractive gastronomy offer.
There are plenty of exciting things to enjoy in Viña del Mar and nearby.
For instance, the neighboring city of Valparaíso is a UNESCO World Heritage
Site and is 20 min from Viña del Mar; you can also visit Casablanca's
world-class wineries; or take the day to ski in Los Andes' mountains, in
Portillo or other nearby ski centers.

Please let us know if you intend to organize a session or two, each with
3-4 speakers who will register and attend the conference. Please provide
the session title, presentations' titles, and speakers' names so we can
better organize.
The submission portal will open soon so you and your colleagues can
discuss and prepare a submission.
Contributed talks and poster sessions will also be available. Poster can be
presented in Spanish, Portuguese or English, but they must be written in
English.
*Financial support:* Students and young researchers can apply for financial
support. The grants will be allocated with priority to applicants
presenting talks or posters. The details will be posted on the conference
website on Oct 15 , 2024.
Key Dates:
• Oct 15, 2024 - Opening of Invited Sessions Submission
• Dec 22, 2024 - Deadline for Invited Sessions Submission
• Jan 2, 2025 - Opening of Full Paper Submission and Conference Registration
• Apr 1, 2025 - Deadline for Contributed Talks, Posters
