Postdoctoral Research Position in Graphical Models and Statistical Learning


The Statistics, Probability, and Machine Learning Group at Universitat
Pompeu Fabra (UPF) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher to
work under the supervision of Professors Gábor Lugosi and Piotr Zwiernik on
topics at the intersection of graphical models, statistical learning with
an emphasis on theory.

*Qualifications:*

   - Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
   (completed or near completion).
   - Strong background in probability, statistics, or machine learning.
   - Demonstrated research potential through publications or preprints.

*Position details:*

   - Duration: 1.5 years, extendable to 2 years subject to funding.
   - Start date: before September 2026.
   - Application deadline: January 30, 2025.
