****Aranda-Ordaz Prize for Best Theses in Probability and Statistics – Call
for Nominations ****

The Francisco Aranda-Ordaz Award is bestowed on one thesis in probability
and one thesis in statistics written by students who completed their PhD at
a Latin American institution, or in a joint program with a Latin American
institution. Theses defended during the period of March 2023 to September
2025 are eligible for consideration in this edition of the Award.
Awardees will be invited to attend the XVII CLAPEM to be held in
Montevideo, Uruguay, March 2–6, 2026, to present their work in a Special
Invited Session. Nominations should be sent in electronic form to
premio.aranda.ordaz em gmail.com by October 31, 2025. For more details, please
