With the pandemic continuing to evolve, JSM 2021 will likely look a little
different. We are making plans for hybrid participation and have rethought
parts of the program.



Registration will not be required to submit an abstract, but will be
required to present. All JSM presentations may be given on any topic of
statistical interest; however, authors are encouraged to submit abstracts
on the theme set by 2021 ASA President Rob Santos: *Statistics, Data, and
the Stories They Tell*. Additionally, abstracts with a primary focus on
statistical applications are encouraged.


  All contributed presentations will follow a speed session format and come
in two parts:

A live 3–4-minute overview of your presentation

A pre-recorded 15-minute presentation for on-demand viewing
