[ABE-L] Acknowledgement for the title of Professor Emeritus

Dear friends, colleagues and research partners,

I have been honored with the title of Professor Emeritus by the Institute
of Mathematics and Statistics at USP, for which I feel honored.

As I reported a few months ago, I suffered severe, although not total,
vision loss. But that did not stop me from working a little with my friends
and collaborators, whom I thank for all the support I have received. Thanks
