*POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT*

The Department of Statistics at Iowa State University, jointly administered
by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the College of Liberal
Arts and Sciences, invites applications for a 9-month
Assistant/Associate/Full Professor (tenure-track or tenured) faculty
position.  The successful candidate will provide statistical consulting
support for the university community, collaborate with world-class
researchers at Iowa State in statistics and other disciplines, develop and
sustain a high-quality and high-impact research program, and successfully
compete for external funding.  Further, the successful candidate will
engage in professional and institutional service, teach graduate and
undergraduate statistics courses, and advise graduate students in one of
the first and largest statistics graduate programs in the country.
