Thank you so much for the invitation to the ceremony celebrating the granting of the title of Professor Emeritus of USP. I was absolutely delighted to receive it!

Unfortunately, due to prior commitments, I won’t be able to attend the ceremony on March 21, 2025, at IME-USP. I’m so sorry to miss what I'm sure will be a very special occasion.

I want to express my heartfelt congratulations on this truly well-deserved honor! It's a powerful testament to your unwavering dedication, hard work, and the incredibly significant contributions you've made to statistics, IME, and USP throughout your remarkable career. This is a moment to be celebrated, and I wish you all the best in this exciting new chapter.

I wish you, your family, and all who attend a truly wonderful and memorable ceremony.
